Since opening in 2012, The Glad Cafe has become a much-loved Southside hub for music and culture, showcasing homegrown talent, as well as internationally renowned artists.

Tucked beside our cafe bar, The Glad Cafe venue space is an intimate 120 capacity room, ideal for gigs, film screenings, comedy nights and a variety of cultural activity.

A well-equipped and versatile space, the venue has been set up with performers, sound engineers and of course, the viewer in mind - featuring a top-quality PA system, lighting rig, high definition projector and screen. Our full tech-spec can be viewed HERE.

The Glad Cafe hosts and promotes a number of our own shows in-house, as well as collaborating with external promoters, artists and community groups.
