PHANTASMGASM Spooky Special: Maz & The Phantasms + Cheap Dirty Horse + Pink Pound
Entry Requirements: OVER 18s ONLY
Glasgow’s infamous southside glam punk rock ’n’ rollers Maz & The Phantasms and Nottingham’s queer trash-punk viral sensations Cheap Dirty Horse co-headline a queer Halloween bash. They’ll also be joined by electro-drag legend Pink Pound (Andrew Milk).
Known for their high-energy live performances and genre-bending sound, Maz & The Phantasms have been building a devoted following over the past two years through festivals and underground shows across Scotland, the UK, and Europe. Their forthcoming EP promises a new chapter of chaos, catharsis, and celebration, perfectly captured in their signature DIY punk ethos.
Maz & The Phantasms are a Glasgow-based acid punk rock ’n’ roll force known for doing everything on their own terms lead by Catalan-Egyptian artist Maz. From booking DIY tours across the UK and Europe to designing their own artwork and releasing music independently, the band has built a fiercely loyal following through sheer creativity and determination.
Cheap Dirty Horse (Nottingham): A six-piece queer, leftist trash folk-punk band known for their rowdy, political, and hilarious shows. With banjos, accordions, and a punk backbone, they cover everything from trans rights to class struggle, and are notorious for their “dad-kissing” antics.
Pink Pound (Glasgow): The drag-electro project of Andrew Milk (Shopping, Current Affairs), blending Hi-NRG gay disco and introspective bedroom pop. Their debut Cottage Industry (Cruisin Records) was hailed as “the yassification of New Order.”
For fans of queer anarchic live energy, community joy and unforgettable Halloween silliness, this show is not to be missed!
