Joy Moughanni + Hiba (DJ)

Joy Moughanni is a Beirut-based producer, engineer, and songwriter, and a member of Tunefork Studios. As a sought-after production collaborator in Beirut’s alternative scene, spanning punk, hip-hop, noise, pop or ambient. Joy’s personal work explores sound in relational contexts and archives, drawing from his architectural studies and spatial sonic installations.
Recently, he has been sonically exploring themes of grief as well as personal and political manipulation through his debut solo album “A Separation From Habit” Voted #48 on The Quietus 2025 Album of the year.
With this album, he has toured his audiovisual performance at various art venues, in the region as well as Europe and The UK and has delivered a series of workshops as part of his "Nothing Outside" ambient research project.
Joy continues to push forward within Lebanon’s vibrant artistic community, fostering collaboration as part of the Tunefork Studios initiatives.
Hiba is a Lebanese DJ and radio presenter based in Glasgow who has carved out a space for collective memory and shared celebration of SWANA cultures in Scotland. Rooted in paying homage to history, heritage, and struggle for liberation, Hiba channels the transformative nature of SWANA music genres into dancefloors as collective cultural spaces.
Since first stepping into Scotland’s electronic scene in 2019, Hiba has played across the country’s most beloved venues, with sets building a reputation for selections that re-contextualize SWANA musical traditions. Alongside playing out in clubs, festivals, and on the radio, Hiba runs DJ workshops in Glasgow in hopes of making the music scene more accessible to those who face the most barriers.
