SAVE AS #16: CARBS EP Launch
Entry Requirements: Over 18s only
CARBS Be the best bro that you can be! CARBS are back with their brand new EP, YouTubular Bells, a five song record crammed full of synth samples, fragmented audio remnants, art-hole artifacts and yes, a couple of pizza references. Jonnie and Jamie spent months watching and sampling their favourite videos on YouTube, then reworked and re-imagined them as fuzzy happy softcore rap songs. The result is a slimy slab of word-based pop, stuffed full of lyrics to put a knowing smile on your face. Put the IRL before the URL, we'll see you down the front.

Sometimes you wake from a dream, and you can't remember anything about it, apart from a little tune that is entirely fictional, all of your imagination's making, and as it lingers in your mind that morning, you realise that it could be the best song you've ever heard. Edwin Organ writes those songs. Crisp, weird, woozy and hazy. Songs like eating a bowl of the freshest fruit for breakfast. Edwin Organ croons in the most beguiling way, like a more sensual Edwyn Collins. "Janene" was the best love song we heard in 2016, "Missing The T" is the best song about boy racers we've heard in 2018. We're so glad he's back at Save As.
