It's year 10 of the Southside's longest-running, BIG, Award-Winning Saturday Night of Comedy at The Glad Cafe!

Who's On?

We're beyond delighted to welcome back Crossmylaff favourite Gareth Waugh as our headline act for August! A multiple Edinburgh Fringe-smasher and two-time Scottish Comedian Of The Year finalist, with extensive radio credits and touring support for the likes of Tom Stade, Katherine Ryan and John Bishop, Gareth will light up your evening! Opening our show we welcome back the Queen of the Baltic, Scotland's No.1 Latvian comedian Gita Blaze! Since her debut in 2023, Gita has performed extensively across the country including as support to Mark Black at Glasgow's Pavillion Theatre and tour support for Karen Dunbar! We're also delighted to welcome back absurdist and impressionist Jack Brookmyre! A rising star in Scottish comedy, Jack was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2024 and has been rattling around the circuit since 2022. Catch him before he goes stellar! We're also delighted to introduce two new acts in the shape of Jamie MacFun and Rowan Boyle! Laughter will ensue and it's all rounded off by Paul and Tom, aka house band The Isaac Haze and hosted by your regular MC, Fergus Mitchell!

Our shows are strictly 18+ and our venue is 100% accessible street to show! Line-ups may be subject to change.
