Entry Requirements: OVER 18s ONLY
Welcome welcome to the Southside's longest-running, BIG, Award-Winning Saturday Night of Comedy at The Glad Cafe!
Who's On?
We're delighted to welcome back the amazing Stuart McPherson as our headline act! A multiple Edinburgh Fringe favourite, writer, actor and critic of the host, Stuart has supported Larry Dean and John Kearns on tour, and won Best Newcomer at the Scottish Comedy Awards. He has performed stand-up on the TV programmes EDINBURGH UNLOCKED (BBC), and THE COMEDY UNDERGROUND (BBC) as well as appearing as a panellist on programmes such as BAD INFLUENCER (BBC) and SANJEEV KOHLI’S BIG TALK (BBC) as well as BBC Radio Scotland’s THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UNEXPECTED and STOP THE PRESS. Stuart also co-hosts the podcast SOME LAUGH!
Stuart's joined by comedy phenomenon and queen of deadpan Rowan Hackett and the strange delights of Rory Spence PLUS two brand-new (to us) acts in the shape of the razor sharp Aldo See and the dirt-dishing Jax! Add to that, your host Fergus Mitchell PLUS a killer tune from house band The Isaac Haze and you have yourselves a wonderful night!
Did you know that many Saturday night comedy shows don't pay their newer acts anything because they're 'giving them a break'? Not Crossmylaff. We've given acts a break too AND paid everyone since our September 2017 show because it's the right thing to do, so when you buy a ticket from us you're directly supporting new comedy talent, NOT just promoters! Thank you! #SaturPay
Our shows are strictly 18+ and our venue is 100% accessible street to show! Line-ups may be subject to change.
