wor_kspace launch their second album for the legendary Glass Modern label, 'Collapsing the Wave Function' with their first ever full band show. Fresh off a short UK tour with Gerard Love and Radhika, the valves and analogue circuits are warmed up for their 4 piece Glasgow debut. National Park’s music has been described as having some similarities to The Velvet Underground, Galaxie 500 and Yo La Tengo “without sounding… like anything else” (Byron Coley, The Wire). On their last release, they describe themselves as occupying the space between the visceral and the whistleable.

National Park gigs have been rare since the early 2000s, with just occasional releases and one-off gigs. With John playing in the Pastels through the 2010s, Simon with Trembling Bells, Youth of America and now, Dragged Up, they’ve started finding time for the odd National Park show now and again - and this is one of them!

Really happy to be able to help launch the new wor_kspace album, National Park have also recently released the Solo Demos EP (physical copies on Bandcamp, streaming from 13th February). A full National Park LP is scheduled to be released this year.
