The Southside's longest-running, BIG, Award-Winning Saturday Night of Comedy is back!
Who's On?
‘Elegantly crafted, full of ludicrous description and hilariously ratcheted-up.’ – The Scotsman LOVE our headliner Stuart McPherson, and so will you when you attend July's BIG Saturday night of Southside stand-up (and it WON'T get rained off!). Stuart's one third of the Some Laugh Podcast, as well as being an award-winning comedian, comedy writer and star of BBC Scotland's 'Scotsquad' AND a firm Crossmylaff favourite!
Speaking of favourites, we're bringing Graham Stewart back to The Glad! Graham was funny as hell when he appeared in our third ever show, just imagine how funny he is now! One third of the scantily-clad hit comedy trio Men In Quilts, Graham doesn't have to take his clothes off to have a good time, he just sometimes chooses to.
We've got the excellent Sarah-Jane Judge returning too, a science educator who's more than periodically funny, delivering jokes, peer-reviewed, yet still fresh and guaranteed funny and free of harmful additives! Rounding things off we've got two new-to-Crossmylaff acts, pride of New Zealand, although he's in Scotland now, Simon Kay and comedic force-of-nature Dominique Barclay!
Your regular host is the maitre d' of comedy, Fergus Mitchell with tunes from Tommy and Paul, aka house band The Isaac Haze!
Did you know that many Saturday night comedy shows don't pay their newer acts anything because they're 'giving them a break'? Not Crossmylaff. We've given acts a break too AND paid everyone since our September 2017 show because it's the right thing to do, so when you buy a ticket from us you're directly supporting new comedy talent, NOT just promoters! Thank you! #SaturPay
