The Southside's longest-running, BIG, Award-Winning Saturday Night of Comedy is back!

Who's On?

The hilarious Stephen Buchanan headlines June's BIG Southside Summer Madness of stand-up comedy at The Glad Cafe on Saturday 7th! The Scottish Comedian of the Year and also the first ever Scottish comedian to win the coveted BBC New Comedy Award in 2018, he's one third of the Some Laugh Podcast, available on the internet! Stephen has royally smashed it on Jonathan Ross' comedy Club (ITV), Comedy Underground (BBC Scotland), The Now Show (BBC Radio 4), The DriveTime Show (BBC Radio 2), The Arts Hour (BBC World Service) and quite a few times here at Crossmylaff!

Joining Stephen we have just about the loveliest man in comedy, writer, podcaster, comedian (of course) and Crossmylaff favourite John Aggasild, creator of the highly-acclaimed show 'Welcome Back' and the soon-to-be unveiled follow-up 'Welcome Home'! A warm welcome to you John! We've got rising star, west coast kid and LGBTQ+ New Comedian Finalist Kat Powell, and on her second bite at the stand-up comedy cherry (is that a thing?) the wonderful Becky Price! PLUS we're delighted to tease an 'A' list mystery guest that we WISH we could tell you more about! Only one way to find out, right?

Your regular host is the maitre d' of comedy, Fergus Mitchell with tunes from Tommy and Paul, aka house band The Isaac Haze!

Did you know that many Saturday night comedy shows don't pay their newer acts anything because they're 'giving them a break'? Not Crossmylaff.
