Join Ceòl ’s Craic for an evening celebrating contemporary Gaelic songwriting at The Glad Cafe. Josie Duncan, Gillebrìde MacMillan and Dòl Eoin MacKinnon are three of the finest Gaelic singers and composers and in this special collaboration they will be celebrating the resurrgence in Gaelic songwriting.
Dòl Eoin MacKinnon is a celebrated actor and videographer but he has gained acclaim for his own song compositions too. His first album of self-penned songs is coming soon.
Gillebrìde MacMillan has released two albums of his own songs, Freumhan Falaichte (2018) and Sèimh: The State of Calm (2023). He will be joined for this performance by acclaimed guitarist Mike Bryan.
Josie Duncan has gained a reputation as one of the finest singers in Scotland in both Gaelic and English. As well as her highly acclaimed self-penned album, As The Moonlight Melts (2022), Josie has written a number of Gaelic songs as part of her Guir! Gaelic arts incubation project. Josie will be joined by Michael McGovern and Signy Jakobsdottir.
