ZUNG! Glasgow experimentalists playing with improvised melody and form, folk song and instrumental-musical-chairs with members from Instruction Manual, Taupe, Mhenwhar Huws and the folk who bring you 1.5 Months. Clarsach, double bass, guitar, piano and percussion objects a-plenty.

Support from Quinie: Josie Vallely is based in Glasgow and explores traditional Scots song. Inspired largely by Scots singers including the repertoire of Lizzie Higgins (1929-1993), she brings together a range of sources and sparse accompaniments. She is interested in exploring short form Scots song. Her repertoire focuses on stories sung from women’s perspectives and collages of different source material.
