Cozytown Live: BODS
Entry Requirements: Over 18s only
Cozytown Live presents an evening all about BODS! Cozytown Live is a monthly evening where we explore a topic close to a featured musician's heart. This month we explore the human body in a body-positive way, with an array of lovely folks:
The Leg: Limb-legends of Edinburgh bring us their mildly unhinged, frenetic folk-punk, harnessing a kind of joyful, driven mayhem. Featuring members of Modern Studies and Withered Hand, but sounding nothing like them
Curlew: local surgeon Dr. Gill Higgins (CLR Theory) plays tender indie folk around this tender topic. Her work explores the interaction of nature and machine, using acoustic instruments, field recordings, synthesizers and loop pedals.
Greer Prester: A visual artist, Greer's work explores human intimacy and vulnerability with a patchwork of collage, drawing, painting and soft sculpture.
Feetwood Mac: covers of body bangers by members of Sprog Rock, Eagleowl, and featuring your host, L.T.Leif.
Also featuring! a story about disability, spooky screenings, animation, competitive operation, and a very long arm. We <3 LGBTQ+++ and all bodies <3
Early show! Doors at 6, show starts at 6:30, done by 10pm. Tickets £7 - £15 / pay what you can. Free +1 for your GP
