Pop Mutations present a showcase of Irish Experimental Electronic Music

Featuring performances from:

Declan Synnott: Declan Synnott is a Cork based electronic musician . He plays in several bands including Síoraí Geimhreadh, Bodycam and Power Acoustics. Solo, his music is based around synthesised and accidental sound, it is generally generous with low end and moves at as slow a pace as possible. His most recent album, Everything Lost in the Image was released by Krim Kram (https://krimkram.com/) November 2022 https://krimkram.bandcamp.com/album/everything-lost-in-the-image https://declansynnott.bandcamp.com/

Rising Damp: Michelle Doyle is a musician and visual artist, making work under the moniker, Rising Damp. In 2020, she developed this project into a live band with drummer Sarah Grimes and synth musician Ivan Pawle. They have played TBGS, Electric Picnic and Feile na Greine. She plays solo under this title, in shows often improvised in nature. She also plays in bands Dreamgirls, the Healers, Bodycam and previously, feminist punk band Sissy.

Gadget and the Cloud: Gadget and the Cloud is Kelly Doherty, a producer and DJ from Cork. With two releases under her belt and high praise from the likes of RTE 2FM, The 405 and more, Gadget and the Cloud has played festivals including Electric Picnic, Sounds From A Safe Harbour, Open Ear and Body & Soul and has been on support duties for Negative Gemini, Gus Dapperton, Saint Sister and Dan Deacon.

Eamon Ivri (aka Mineral Stunting / Lighght): Eamon Ivri is a musician, artist, and event organizer based in Cork. They work under a variety of monikers, including Lighght and Mineral Stunting. A purveyor of gulch ambient, their most recent album as Mineral Stunting ‘Ambling Construct’ sees them stutter through rough, weary terrain, sounding out every step. Expect a squidgy blob of noise and dub - smoke over a bog, with a light shining through.
