Described by one Americana reviewer as ' the find of the festival' just before the pandemic, Anthony Toner is a welcome visitor to Glasgow Americana, and is developing a growing following in Scotland thanks to recent shows as special guest of folk legend Barbara Dickson, and a string of acclaimed folk club shows in his own right.

Thanks to songs like 'Sailortown' and 'The Road to Fivemiletown', he's one of Northern Ireland's most revered singer songwriters and has 13 albums under his belt.

He's blessed with a terrific acoustic fingerstyle technique, some superb stories from the road, and songs loaded with heart and insight. After going down a treat at the Glad Cafe on the last visit, he's delighted to be back there and can't wait to be part of the line-up.
