Continuing Home Economics’ little run of shows at the Glad in August we’ve got an absolute doozy for you.

Peplo have been on our collective radars for a while and we can’t wait to have them play for us. Since forming in 2018 they’ve been described as “lofi, dreamy, lush” and compared to Dolly Mixture, The Cranberries and 10,000 Maniacs. High praise indeed! They’re working on their debut album just now and we can’t wait to hear material from it.

We think you probably know the script with Home Economics by now but we can say they’ll play a different set and might even have some new material to play by August, who knows?

Lana Wild is a noisy singer-songwriter with attitude! Her songs are “sang straight from her heart to yours with choruses that promise to stick with you for days” and we couldn’t agree more, she blew us away when we managed to catch her live.

As always the Double A-Side raffle will make a return raising funds for Stonewall Scotland.
