C.A.L.I.E is one the newest jazz-fusion groups to emerge from Glasgow’s thriving music scene. Led by jazz saxophonist Josie Girgis and consisting of a stellar line-up, this new band promises to treat its audience. Influenced by hard-hitting fusion groups like Huntertones and Snarky Puppy, C.A.L.I.E presents a set of music that draws in listeners with both its heavy grooves and intricate arrangements. With compositions that draw from a vast range of genres – including jazz, prog, funk, hip-hop and soul – C.A.L.I.E hopes to indulge its audience with an exciting and eclectic set of music.
NOTE: The 'all day' ticket option grants entry into the matinee (4pm) show AND evening (8pm) show - the matinee shows are open to all ages, but evening shows are 18+ only due to the Glad's alcohol licence.
