My Latest Novel started playing music together in 2005, releasing two critically acclaimed albums through Bella Union. They developed a uniquely euphoric sound that combines melodious strings, dissonant guitars, and four-part harmonies. The band toured with the likes of Low, Sea Power and Arab Strap and opened for Pixies.

In 2012, the band agreed on going on a short hiatus while band members worked on other projects, started families and moved around Scotland and Ireland.

The hiatus extended to a 10 year break before the band reconnected in 2021.

“We started to talk more over the past 18 months. We were all drawn to do something again. We have this deep connection which runs through all of us and, when we started playing and singing together again, there was a new sense of possibility. It feels like it did in those early days when we wrote songs in bedrooms. No boundaries. Familiar but also exciting again”.

My Latest Novel will perform songs from their albums ‘Wolves’ and ‘Deaths and Entrances’.
