The Window Sessions present three brilliant songwriters from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds who first met performing in the DIY music scene in London in the late 2010s. Since then all three have matured into unique and daring artists with a shared love for the transportive potential of lyrics and their power to move and intrigue the listener.

Gabi Garbutt will be performing a stripped back acoustic set which promises to be a very special & intimate way to experience her exceptional punk poet songs, as she usually plays with her band The Illuminations at venues such as Paris L’Olympia and London Palladium and has supported the likes of the Libertines, The Boomtown Rats and Big Country in the last year

Catherine Rudie (with Chris Brambley & special guests tbc) will be playing uniquely observed and lushly melodic songs from a new EP tabled for release in early 2023, as well as material from The Möbius Kiss - her 2019 critically acclaimed debut album. There will also be an unexpectedly moving song about a library.

To bring the evening to a magical close will be Gabriel Moreno, Gibralter’s Cultural Ambassador 2022, and dynamo creator of 10 published books of poetry, as well as releasing 4 exceptional albums in the UK. Mercurial and moving with his crafted, driving Spanish infused guitar (along with piano provided by Ned Cartwright) underpinning his ear worm melodies, he is a hugely entertaining and powerfully moving performer.
