Full-Day Independent Creatives Business Course - Peter Chand
This day long course is led by full time storyteller Peter Chand, and covers marketing and business tools for anyone who works on a self-employed, freelance basis in the creative field. It is an intensive practical workshop, which explores sales, accounting, and marketing, and aims to give participants the skills to promote and sustain a successful and creative enterprise.
About the Course:
This day long course is suitable for those who are thinking about embarking on a career in the arts, have just started their journey, or have been practising for some years and want to improve their business skills. Once we get these basics in place, it gives us the freedom to focus more on the creative side of our work. Peter has run this course in England for almost 10 years and has also shared it with creative practitioners in Northern Ireland and Belgium too.
About the Facilitator:
He is a highly respected storyteller and workshop leader who has worked all over Britain, and also in Norway, France, Austria, Canada, Singapore, India, and the USA amongst other countries.
Prior to becoming a full time Storyteller, Peter spent 8 years in Field Sales, plus a further 10 years in Retail Management. As a member of the organising team at the oldest storytelling festival in England- Festival at the Edge in Shropshire, he also has years of experience in knowing what international festival’s require from their artists. He now brings all this experience together to help individuals make their creativity pay for them.
