The Southside's longest-running, BIG, Award-Winning Saturday Night of Comedy returns for 2023!

Stand-up wonderboy and Twitch sensation Rosco McClelland headlines at the wonderful Glad Cafe for the night Comedy's been waiting for! Rosco will be joined by Eddy Mackenzie, Amelia Bayler, Ashley Manning, Fearghas Kelly and your standard issue host Fergus Mitchell (no relation)! Check out some of our five-star audience reviews for shows past...

"Absolutely brilliant comedy night. Hip little venue with a good bar and café. The comedians were fab and so many of them. Headline act was fantastic. Can't wait to go again." - Suzy M

"Everything we anticipated- just great - excellent MC and wonderful contributions from all who contributed. What a night of frivolity. Anarchic and acceptably coarse." - Colin from Barrhead

"Great comedy, great venue, great bar people, great audience, great menu, great toilets, great snacks, great walkway, great signs, great beards, great teeth :)" - Del13

"Woke lefty BS" - Simon G

Who's On?

Multi award-winning Scottish comedian and top 1% global Twitch streamer Rosco McClelland is our headliner! Scottish Comedian of the Year 2016 and Best Scottish Compere 2020. Host of Comedy Central Live. 'Joyously weird' ★★★★ (Times). 'The highlight of the show' ★★★★ (Scotsman). 'A gifted storyteller, with great stage presence and, of course, fantastic gags' ★★★★ (Edinburgh Festivals Magazine).

Fearghas Kelly is a stand-up comedian from Glasgow. Twice shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award and a Semi-Finalist in the prestigious So You Think You're Funny? competition in 2022, his rise up the comedy ladder has seen him perform in world-famous cities such as London, Berlin and Dunfermline. Fresh from his first run at the Edinburgh Fringe, expect semi-verifiable anecdotes about how he spent his lockdown, becoming an unintentional John Lennon lookalike and how recycling glass bottles once got him out of a stabbing.

"A knack for reacting to the news cycle." – The Scotsman

"His material is well written, confident with the audience. Had the crowd on board from the start." – The Stand Comedy Club
