It's been a busy year for the JAIVA crew from dominating the Scottish festivals with the infectious African Electronic Sounds and pushing the boundaries of the local club scene promoting black DJ's and finding empowerment through music . From Kelburn Festival to the energetic b2b at Otherlands with ButhoTheWarrior and Optimistic Soul to a 7hr closing set at Knockengorroch we are guaranteed to be in safe hands to celebrate NYE with the Jaiva family at The Glad Cafe.

JAIVA resident Joshua Dube will be gracing us with a set after his trip back from London for Josh Kilimanjaro's night at 25 Paul Street. Joshua Dube has seen a steady flow of support from the local scene and we look forward to seeing his growth next year. Expect groovy jazz, psychedelic, disco, house, amapiano, Afro House and everything inbetween to get us warmed up for the year ahead. We have missed two years worth of dancing to welcome the past new years, do make sure to join us for a good old celebration.

Glaswegian Producer and DJ Jigsawtiger, is a maker and player of eclectic music. Described by Snack Mag as ‘fresh Glasgow talent’, BBC Introducing categorised her original music as ‘on the edge of a lot of genres’ and her DJ sets are no different. As well as being a regular with Disclaimer, she has contributed mixes to Groove City Radio, Clyde Built Radio and Radio Buena Vida. After making her debut at Jaiva as a live performer, she cant wait to join the party on the decks for Hogmanay.
