BAD HAMMER are Lisa Klinkhammer and Johannes Badzura, a shadow pop band who live and work in Berlin.

Close-ups of nostalgia and sensation inspire BAD HAMMER‘s timeless and cinematic pop songs, which blend melancholic melodies, poignant guitar riffs, warm synth pads and subtly driving drum beats.

With backgrounds in both music and visual arts, the duo‘s passion for songwriting is accompanied by a strong sense of and expression for the visual side of their music. Accordingly, they have produced a music video for every song they have released to date. The duo have toured extensively throughout Europe, including a run of shows opening for Molly Nilsson, as well as playing one off supports for like-minded artists including Sean Nicholas Savage, Jaakko Eino Kalevi, Anemone and more.

2019 saw the release of their debut EP »Extended Play« (Doom Chakra Tapes / ITIS!), »an ethereal, atmospheric, and lush collection of shadow pop epics«. 2020 brought »Mystified« (Doom Chakra Tapes / ITIS!), an exceptional single release in which the song‘s music video served as an advertisement for an eponymous, and limited run, perfume. In addition, »Mystified« featured remixes by contemporaries Chikiss, Sami Toroi and Giraffi Dog. In November 2022 BAD HAMMER will release their debut album »End of an Age« on their own imprint ITALIAN ISLAND (ITIS!)

Casual Worker are Eve King and Hamish Wickham. Their debut EP mixes goth and new wave song writing with electronic pop production. Lead single Allison Street nods to an area in Govanhill, Glasgow where most of their material was written and tracked.
