Woman. Life. Freedom. Hosted by Farzane Zamen
Entry Requirements: Over 18s only
We're coming together to celebrate WOMAN. LIFE. FREEDOM movement to stand with women of Iran who are fighting for freedom.
After 22-year-old Mahsa Amini was brutally murdered by the so-called morality police in Tehran, the whole nation got united to be the voice of Mahsa and demand justice for Mahsa, a movement that so far has had so many victims brutally being killed by the Islamic regime's security forces when peacefully protesting, taking their headscarves off and burning them and cutting their hair, symbolic actions to oppose the barbaric sharia laws forcefully applied in the society after the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
People of Iran are questioning the whole regime this time as there is no hope for change under the current corrupt political system. The majority of western media are resisting to accept that this is a REVOLUTION and are degrading the movement to just protests to ease strict hijab laws. It's not about hijab and Islamic dress code, it's about freedom and dignity, as one of the teenage victims (Sarina Esmailzadeh) said: A NORMAL LIFE! youtube.com/watch?v=Jguffe-DAjA
Join us to get to know the real stories and celebrate the Iranian people's bravery in encountering the most violent regime to create a better future for one of the most historic countries in the world, Iran.
