"Absolutely brilliant comedy night. Hip little venue with a good bar and café. The comedians were fab and so many of them. Headline act was fantastic. Can't wait to go again." - Suzy M
"Everything we anticipated- just great - excellent MC and wonderful contributions from all who contributed. What a night of frivolity. Anarchic and acceptably coarse." - Colin from Barrhead
"Great comedy, great venue, great bar people, great audience, great menu, great toilets, great snacks, great walkway, great signs, great beards, great teeth :)"
- Del13
Who's on, you say?
Our headliner Ray Bradshaw is one of the brightest and most exciting acts on the UK Comedy circuit. A double Scottish Comedian of the Year finalist, he has performed sell-out solo festival shows in Edinburgh, Adelaide, and Melbourne. Ray was handpicked to support John Bishop on his recent UK arena tour and has previously supported Frankie Boyle on his last two tours.
His last show 'Deaf Comedy Fam' was a huge success and won awards both in the UK and Australia, leading Ray to become the first comedian ever to win a Scottish Culture Show Award.
Bylgja Babýlons recently secured herself the title of “the third funniest person in Scotland 2021” and feels strongly that everyone must know about it.
“She’s established herself as one of the most talented performers on the Scottish comedy scene.” - The Wee review (****)
“Bylgja Babýlons was assured, ambitious and distinctive.” - The Scotsman
Starring Gregor Mackay, Conor Hardie and Elliot Hanigan, the Glasgow based comedy sketch group Weegie Hink Ae That? delivers fast-paced, witty comedy with clever twists on Scottish culture. They’ve proved an undeniable hit both on stage and online, having sold out two consecutive Edinburgh Fringe shows and launched numerous viral sketches via BBC Scotland.
"Original, and frequently hysterically funny... these are highly intelligent writers and performers." - The Reviews Hub
"Brilliant" - The Wee Review
Craig Wilson is a nice boy. That’s the reputation he’s gained in his years of doing comedy and his weekly phone all to his gran at least. He recently featured on BBC Scotland’s #CancelKarenDunbar programme. His 2019 Edinburgh Fringe show featured in The Scotsman’s "best food based shows to see at the fringe 2019 list".
“As pure innocent and hilarious as they come” - The Diversity Quota
Anaemic, Canadian, and disgusting, Kate Hammer has performed at Just for Laughs, opened for Karen Dunbar, and was a semi-finalist for LGBTQ Comedian fo the Year 2022. A writer, performer, and all-round emotionally unavailable person, she is ready to be way too personal, wear high-waisted jeans, and make you laugh.
Our shows are fully accessible, no step from street to venue. Our shows are 18+.
In June our cash collection for Refuweegee raised an excellent £82.78 on the night. This month we'll again be passing round the bucket for our charity of the month...to be confirmed! Please bring your cash!
