Laila Sakini + Troth + Lucy Duncombe & Feronia Wennborg
Entry Requirements: Over 18s only
Are You Before presents an evening of lucid-dream experiments crossing landscapes in late-night ambience, left-field folk, synth pop and sound art.
Following a series of releases on Boomkat Editions, Total Stasis and A Colourful Storm (under Princess Diana Of Wales), London-based Laila Sakini makes her Glasgow debut presenting her delicate and minimalist compositions in piano, voice and warm electronics. Music thats meditative, stunning and deeply introspective. https://lailasakini.bandcamp.com/
Knekelhuis, I Dischi Del Barone and Not Not Fun affiliates Troth travel from Australia to present their trance-inducing explorations into left-field folk and synth-pop, carried by their impeccable touch for sublime vocals and blissful ritual, with inspirations rooted in nature. https://troth.bandcamp.com/
Glasgow-based sound artists Lucy Duncombe and Feronia Wennborg (of Soft Tissue) complete the lineup, with releases on 12th Isle and Penultimate Press collectively, bringing together their intricate musical palettes to present "3rd Remove From The Real". Using two voice clones and a choir of virtual singers to explore the complexities of subjective voice passing through augmentation, they'll share a hypnagogic journey through sea-floor depths in abstract and ambient sound art. https://lucyduncombe.bandcamp.com/
