Randolph’s Leap + Moonsoup
Entry Requirements: Over 18s only
Randolph’s Leap are an indie/folk/pop group fronted by songwriter Adam Ross whose melodic songs fuse wordplay, introspection, humour and poignancy. They have been steadily building up an eclectic discography of storytelling songs - a mixture of lo-fi home recordings and full-band studio epics with three full-length albums and several EPs released via Fence, Lost Map and Olive Grove Records. Recently, the Randolph’s Leap back-catalogue became the inspiration for a touring theatre show called The Isle of Love which was written and produced by the award-winning Right Lines Productions. A new Randolph’s Leap album is currently being recorded and Adam is also working on a brand-new music and theatre project inspired by the 1936 novel 'Wild Harbour' by Ian Macpherson. The show at the Glad Café will feature the full band, including brass section, and will showcase songs from the forthcoming Randolph’s Leap album alongside some fan favourites.

“They are ace” – Marc Riley, BBC
“The next generation of witty Scottish indie-pop… A songwriter who is both honest and charming, combining the strut and humour of Neil Hannon, the sincerity, vulnerability and softness of Stuart Murdoch and the lyrical wit and musical playfulness of the DIY Daddy, King Creosote himself." - The Quietus
Moonsoup create dreamy, lofi indie rock and come from Falkirk. They'll be releasing something on Olive Grove Records soon.
