Now more about our mighty headliner, Matt McGinn!!
Matt McGinn is a singer, songwriter and producer from the foothills of the Mourne Mountains in Hilltown, Co. Down. You can hear by his warm worn powerful rasping voice, and his worldly-wise lyrics that this is not Matt's first dance. Far from it...
In 2018 he released his third full length studio album, 'The End of the the Common Man' to great acclaim for both its musicality and strong social message.
"An outstanding blend of soulful passion and melody that will haunt and inspire...9/10" AMERICANA UK
In May of 2018 his music documentary 'Lessons of War' was premiered at the Belfast Film Festival. It features anti-war songs penned by Matt and some of the North's finest writers, and includes performances from Matt and artists from areas around the world affected by conflict. Namely, Yazan Ibrahim, a Flamenco Guitarist from Golan Heights, on the Syrian Border, and the Citizens of the World Choir, based in London but made up of international Refugees, and many others.
"Matt, your album is superb... I've seen Matt play Live and he's fantastic!" BOB HARRIS BBC RADIO 2
