Ever since the opening Tsunami chords of Rosalita washed away any shreds of sense and judgement from their juvenile minds, Sammy’s Open Night house band, The Bucks, have been long-term Springsteen fans. For many years they have mulled over the prospect of a Springsteen song event - but hesitated due to the reverence in which they held the material: “It would be like interfering with The Queen Mother,” opined one. However, realising that their time may now be short, they are biting the bullet and have put an extended band together and along with some guest singers... The Bruceathon! is now a reality. Honest to Nonsense, No-Goodness Rock’n’Roll is promised: dancing and singing along is obligatory. Wear comfortable shoes.
