As one man's once-a-day tread creates a path, does the road less travelled ever last?

There's more to this place than just a misplaced traffic cone.

"Glasgow Garden Festival '18" is the new album by Jamie Scott, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of the original Glasgow Garden Festival, and explores it's heritage. From the sunniest summer the city has ever seen, to a legacy that imagines another world. From the Clydesdale Bank Tower to George Wyllie's Paper Boat. From the Blue Nile's "Tinseltown in the Rain" to Archie Hind's Dear Green Place.

To celebrate, we are collaborating with 2 Stripe to stage the Glasgow Garden Festival '18 in the Glad Cafe on Saturday the 11th of August.

The Glasgow Garden Festival '18 will feature - - A re-staging of the original Glasgow Garden Festival. - Live musical performances from Jamie Scott, Adam Stafford and Two Kings. - Exclusive commemorative merchandise from 2 Stripe. - A Glasgow Garden Festival beer, brewed in conjunction with Drygate Brewery.

And much more.

Entry fee includes a complimentary event program to accompany both the Festival and the Glasgow Garden Festival '18 album, produced by David Lemm.
