Award-winning clarinettist Arun Ghosh returns to Glasgow, in a unique new collaboration with cutting-edge guitarist and songwriter, Kapil Seshasayee.

A leading light on the UK jazz scene, Arun is considered a renowned innovator of modern IndoJazz, with a passionate sound driven by soaring melodies, hypnotic rhythms and transcendental textures.

Following previous appearances at Glasgow Jazz Festival and Celtic Connections, tonight’s show celebrates the release of Arun’s new album, Seclused in Light. Composed, recorded and produced during the lockdowns, the music on Seclused in Light is at times evocative and introspective, other times searing and effervescent…but always brought to life, and given breath by Arun’s uniquely expressive clarinet playing and style, vibrancy and spirit.

A charismatic and communicative performer, Arun Ghosh’s shows are always special, spontaneous and moving events; this is a gig not to be missed!
